Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. Although the room smelled awful with the air conditioner on and had noticeable issues like big holes in the wall, it did have 3 queen beds. The games buttons didn't work well, which was disappointing. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster - helpful and accommodating in some situations but overly interrogative and annoying when I simply asked for an extra pillow. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and Cedar Point, but definitely in need of some renovations and a good power wash. The breakfast was just okay but lacking in variety. Despite the drawbacks, the staff tried their best to keep the dining area clean and organized. The facilities were a bit dated and could use some improvements.
My stay at Comfort Inn in Sandusky, Ohio was delightful! The rooms were just the right size, clean, and comfortable, although they felt a bit damp, especially on the sheets. The service was excellent, with friendly staff like Luca and Carmella making my stay memorable. The location was perfect, close to Cedar Point and various dining options. The dining experience was good, offering a variety of options, although the cooked food was typical. Overall, a great stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel has a good size to accommodate 6 people in actual beds but is very dated and could use a complete refresh. There is a strong cigarette odor present. The service was courteous and professional, although staff seemed overwhelmed at times. The location is excellent for visiting Cedar Point and near other attractions in Sandusky, but some areas appeared dirty and not well-maintained. The dining options were ample with varied hot choices daily, suitable for different tastes.
